09.30 The tour begins at Mother Dough, a beloved bakery in the heart of Franschhoek. Your tour guide will
introduce themselves, share their personal Franschhoek story, and set the tone for the day ahead.
Your first stop is GlenWood Vineyards, where you will experience the journey of wine from vine to bottle.
Begin with a tasting in the vineyard, followed by a visit to the cellar for a deeper insight into the
winemaking process. As a special treat, enjoy an exclusive tasting directly from the barrel.
Continue on to your second tasting based on your local Franschhoek guide’s recommendation that
would have a broad appeal to varying tastes and preferences.
For lunch, you’ll stop at Rickety Bridge, a beautiful wine farm with expansive grounds and stunning valley
views. Take in the scenery as you enjoy a delicious meal. Lunch is at your own expense, allowing you to
choose from a variety of seasonal dishes.
Your final tasting takes place at La Petite Ferme, known for offering some of the best views in
Franschhoek. Here, you’ll sample their exceptional wines, perfectly complemented by the breathtaking
setting. La Petite Ferme is a long-standing favourite for both locals and visitors.
After a day of wine exploration, you’ll be dropped off in the centre of Franschhoek, concluding your
memorable tour at approximately 17h00.
