09.30 The tour begins at Mother Dough, a beloved bakery in the heart of Franschhoek. Your tour guide will
introduce themselves, share their personal Franschhoek story, and set the tone for the day ahead.
Your first stop is at Colmant where passion for the tradition and the excellence of impeccably crafted
Cap Classique wines is grounded in their dedication to bubbly lovers. They produce some of South
Africa’s premier Méthode Cap Classique’s (MCC). These bubbles are made using the same method as
Champagne. A boutique, family-owned winery, it offers an intimate and relaxed experience.
The second tasting venue selection will be at the discretion of your local Franschhoek guide based on
the group’s preferences and tastes or any one of the firm favourites in the region.
After the morning tasting experiences, you will enjoy a stop for lunch (to own account) at one of the local
favourites.
Your final tasting for the day is at Black Elephant, which describes itself as “Misfits of the
Wine Industry”. They are eclectic, fun, creative and very good at making wine and bubbly. Not afraid to
take risks and try something different, their tastings are always a fun and a memorable experience.
Return to Franschhoek town approximately 17h00 (opposite De Hoek Coffee Shop).
